It was actually just a funny nonsense idea that gave rise to the graphic idea. It came about because some outraged ELF fans had picked out photos of the new stadium that were so horribly ugly that I thought they could be printed on cigarettes as a deterrent. There were better pictures, but the idea was born.
In general, I have to say that I’m really pleased that the Thunder now have a stadium. Sure, it’s not a perfect match in terms of requirements or appearance, but at least the sword of Damocles of the lack of a home venue has been lifted and the team can get on with the many other construction sites.
