Alessandro Vergani, born on January 19, 1990 in Brugherio, is an Italian American football player who currently plays as an offensive tackle for the Stuttgart Surge in the European League of Football. Standing at 191 cm tall and weighing 130 kg, Vergani has had an impressive career that has taken him through various top teams in Italy and Germany. He began his career with the Daemons Cernusco and later played for the Panthers Parma and Rhinos Milano before moving to the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. He enjoyed great success with the Unicorns, including winning the German Bowl twice and the international club championship twice. Vergani was also twice named to the GFL South All-Star Team and won the 2021 European Championship with the Italian national team.
