RichardGrooten, born on June 17, 1993 in Aachen, is a German American football player at the safety position. He began his career with the Aachen Vampires and later played for teams such as the Cologne Falcons, Düsseldorf Panthers and Cologne Crocodiles. In the European League of Football (ELF), he played for the Cologne Centurions and Rhein Fire. Grooten has numerous successes to his name, including two Junior Bowl victories and a silver medal at the 2017 World Games. He currently plays for the Cologne Centurions.
