First Field 2 Tarczyński Arena - Overnight
Our plan was actually to travel overnight from Kelenföld station to Wroclaw on the Flixbus. I actually wanted to edit a few photos and get some sleep. After all, we would be arriving in Wroclaw very early on Sunday, far too early to check into our hotel. Well, sometimes things just turn out differently than planned. So we went back to Budapest to Kelenföld station. It’s not just a normal train station, it’s also a bus station. From there, our Flixbus left for Wroclaw.
Sleepless on the rollercoaster
However, everything turned out differently than planned. Instead of working and sleeping on the bus, we had to hold on tightly to avoid falling into the middle aisle. The bus drivers drove like two retired rally drivers on coke and vodka. When I tried to edit the photos, I just couldn’t keep the hardware on the table. When you tried to sleep, another curve came and you were panicked and wide awake again. In the end, I just about managed to copy the photos. We arrived in Wroclaw exhausted but relieved that the journey was finally over.
