- Michael Szabo is a talented quarterback who plays for the Vienna Vikings. He was recently accepted into the NFL Academy where he will prove himself over the next seven months at Loughborough. For him, Austrian NFL players such as Bernhard Seikovits and Bernhard Raimann are just the beginning. They too were once in the Purple Club.
- The next important date for the Vikings in Austria is coming up: the Austrian Bowl. Next Sunday, the Purple Club will play the grand final of Austria’s top league for the first time in Wiener Neustadt. Even if the 19-year-old can’t be there live, he will be keeping his fingers crossed for his team from afar and hopes that the Vikings can end the 2024 season with a win.
