Sleep at last
After the game, we went straight to the hotel. We actually wanted to visit the old town of Wroclaw, but unfortunately that fell by the wayside. We only just managed to order a pizza. Then I started copying the photos … but I fell asleep part way through. But that’s something we definitely want to make up for another time.
The people in Wroclaw were all very nice and we really liked it there (including what we could see). But in any case …. finally got some sleep … albeit with pain … the bed in our hotel was so strangely positioned in the room that it cost us both our little toes. Much more comfortable and cheaper than taking the bus the whole way. So there’s not much to say about the return journey, except that we reserved a table on the Flixtrain again … it’s absolutely worth it and you can still work there in a relaxed atmosphere. Oh yes, and nothing worked at the main station in Berlin! It was practically impossible to find a working elevator to take us to our platform. We got home at 10pm after a very long and actually quite exhausting weekend. “Enough time” to get ready for the work on the
