Stade du Hainaut
The stadium in the north of France was the alternative stadium for the Paris Musketeers in the playoffs against the Munich Ravens. With around 25,000 seats, it was of course far too big for the Musketeers’ normal crowd, just like the actual stadium. Nevertheless, the “Red Company” provided a great atmosphere, as did the Musketeers’ fantastic cheerleaders. The stadium itself is really beautiful. Unfortunately, our freedom of movement was severely restricted. The man in charge imposed strict rules on us. We were only allowed to move on the Ravens’ side and only behind the advertising board. Despite the great distance, some Ravens fans came from the Ravens crowd and really raised the alarm. The game was very exciting. Unfortunately, the Ravens lost in the end, but that doesn’t belong here 😉 In terms of the stadium, it was practically in the top 5, which is always great in France due to their affinity with rugby, as the pitches are perfect for American football. There was also artificial turf around the pitch (as in Paris), so it was really comfortable to sit and lie there. If the stadium comes up for a game again, we will certainly consider it again.
