Nuremberg - here we come
Why am I using the Italian name? It’s in week 3, when we traveled from Milan to Munich. But this week was the first week in which we didn’t travel abroad, that is, if you don’t call Bavaria abroad (sorry, I had to). We left a little early, but directly from Leonberg station. This weekend really wasn’t that stressful and we probably wouldn’t collect any points on the Frankfurt scale either. The journey on the Flixbus was a little strange. The drivers were a little grumpy. But for the relatively short journey, we were able to take it all in our stride.

Arrival in Nuremberg and before the game - easy
When we arrived in beautiful Nuremberg, we headed straight to our hotel. We wanted to drop off our suitcases at least briefly. After a short cab ride, we arrived at the hotel. We were able to leave our luggage there and set off to do a little shopping and maybe get something to eat. After what felt like several kilometers of walking, we found a supermarket. On the way, we could see the full extent of the 1.FC Nürnberg there. In principle, it seemed to be a district of its own. We spent a while at the McDonalds around the corner, where we also listened to “Hello Gameday” by Foot Bowl. Finally, we headed back to the hotel and chilled out in the lobby (I may have fallen asleep in the lobby for a bit and maybe that’s worth a point on the Frankfurt scale). When we were able to go to our room, we freshened up and headed straight to the stadium.
