Challenges
I slept for 3 hours on the night train on Thursday. Friday to Saturday about 6 hours sleep in the hotel and a great breakfast. Then only again on Sunday night with pain in my toe and actually everywhere because of the terrible bus ride to Wroclaw and 2 long days. Arrived absolutely exhausted on Monday, back to work on Tuesday morning
Frankfurt Scale
Frankfurt Scale *****
Clean up in the restroom and head to the game unshowered. +1
Show up at both the Enthroners and the Panthers with our suitcases +1
Lie to the cab driver when he asks how many euros we have with us. +1
Ordering pizza to the hotel room. +1
Saving bag as rain protection for the camera +1
The Frankfurt Scale is a scale I invented that expresses how antisocial the behavior is.
Many factors play a role here, why Frankfurt Scale? More on this later

CONCLUSION
Our first weekend was surprisingly interesting and also challenging. We hadn’t imagined the locations to be anywhere near as beautiful. There were a few minor problems such as foreign currencies, locals without English, sleepless nights and so on. In general, the people there were all very nice. We had a lot of fun, got to know 2 great cities and photographed 2 cool games. Both franchises are definitely worth a trip! I just wouldn’t do it again in combination on a weekend.
Rating Fehervar Enthroners
JUST SHOTS RATING 80/100
- The First Field is unfortunately a bit out of town and difficult to reach by public transport. A shuttle from Székesfehérvár train station would be ideal. –
- Prices at First Field are absolutely fine. The selection and size are great and reasonable. –
- Unfortunately there is no power party, I don’t know if that justifies a deduction, but it probably wouldn’t be worth it. –
- The people at the franchise were very, very nice. We were very well looked after, were allowed to store our suitcases, the staff spoke perfect English. ++
- First Field is small but adequate and very well maintained and pretty. +
- Although the guest teams all come from countries without forints, payment is only possible in forints. This is a small minus point, probably more of a suggestion for improvement. –
All in all, we really like the franchise and its people. It was a really great day there. Shoutout also to the Viennese fans who changed euros into forints for us.
Of course, we always write from the perspective of photographers who are guests at a franchise. In general, however, there is always a lot of overlap with the impressions of a “normal” visitor
Rating Wroclaw Panthers
JUST SHOTS RATING 75/100
- The Tarczyński Arena is impressive and beautiful. The Panthers’ presentation (booms, posters, displays, etc) was breathtaking. ++-
- Free water and snacks IT until you drop in the press room for the media. ++-
- Unfortunately, there was no power party. I was really irritated by the Panthers’ announced attendance figures. –
- The people at the franchise were very, very nice. We were very well looked after, were allowed to store our suitcases, the staff spoke perfect English. ++
- Unfortunately, we had to stay very far away from the pitch for half the game. This was later sorted out and we were allowed to get closer. –
- We briefly had to leave the stadium with security because they forgot to put our wristbands on. We were allowed back with the wristband. –
We’ve always liked the Panthers. That has been confirmed once again. Very nice people and really a driving force and role model in the east of the ELF. The Panthers simply get the arena filled properly. Respect!
