Sandro Platzgummer, born on March 10, 1997 in Innsbruck, is an Austrian American football player who plays as a running back for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the European League of Football. With a height of 181 cm and a weight of 93 kg, he has established himself as one of the best European running backs. Platzgummer began his career with the Swarco Raiders Tirol and later played for the New York Giants in the NFL. He is known for his speed and agility on the field and has received numerous awards, including the title of AFL Youngstar of the Year 2015. In addition to his sporting career, he is studying medicine and plans to become an orthopaedic surgeon. His younger brother Adrian is also active in American football.
