Gerald Ameln, born on June 30, 2001 in Accra, Ghana, is a German American football player. The 180 cm tall and 90 kg running back played for the Montabaur Fighting Farmers Juniors (2016-2018), Wiesbaden Phantoms Juniors (2019), Cologne Crocodiles Juniors (2020), Frankfurt Galaxy (2021), Hamburg Sea Devils (2022) and since 2023 for the Cologne Centurions. He was named ELF Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2021 and was part of the Frankfurt Galaxy’s championship team. He will play for the Frankfurt Galaxy again from 2025.
